With a strong track record and depth of knowledge in this, JLP Development Consultancy is working closely with selected retailers to secure sites and buildings for retail development (targeting the identification of sites for discount food development) and will either seek to deliver opportunities to the operator for an agency fee, or will acquire and develop opportunities to create an investment with developer / equity partners.

· Worked for five years with Wm Low (taken over by Tesco) as Property Executive managing the identification, analysis, and acquisition of superstore sites totalling over 200,000 sq ft in Haddington, Ilkeston, Cambletown, Lanark, Loughborough, Falkirk, Aviemore and Newton Stewart.
· Worked with Lidl as Development Manager, dealing with the acquisition of sites at Alloa and Falkirk; post opening property management at Perth; successful negotiation of agreements for developments at six further locations; and negotiation of acceptable terms at twelve other locations with landowners/developers.
· Worked with a variety of developers, including IDS Ltd, focussing on the discount food sector.
